Here’s a glimpse into what to expect at our Sunday service. You’ll be greeted at the door with a smile, and friendly assistance about where to go.

Don’t worry about what to wear. We’re more concerned about you as a person. So, dress casually (most people wear jeans or shorts), grab a cup of gourmet coffee, and enjoy our upbeat music from a live band and vocal team.
Mike’s messages give practical insight from the Bible and deal with real life issues. Printed outlines, multi-media, movie clips, and drama will help you grasp the message with take home value. Many people admit that they review the notes throughout the week as a helpful reminder on how to live the life God wants for them.

A Safe Place for your Preschoolers
Promise Land…our Early Childhood department is a safe and loving environment for children birth through five years. Leaders give special care and attention to each child who is entrusted to them during the worship service. Jesus’ love, radiating from our Promise Land leaders, helps your children feel church is a happy place where they are loved and secure.

A Fun Place for Kids
Every weekend, kids ages six through 3rd grade are greeted as they enter our Promiseland children’s area. You can hear the energetic sounds of worship as kids learn to praise God in their own words. They’ll hear Bible lessons presented in an interactive, creative way so they’ll be able to apply those truths to their lives. Your kids will sense the love of God coming from dedicated adults who are committed to serving Jesus by leading kids.

A Cool Place for Teens to Connect
God has a purpose for your teens! They don’t need to wait until they are adults to make their life count! Whether your teen is in high school or junior high, we’ll bring a biblical message of hope and challenge to them. We use cutting edge videos, fun games and music that rocks to shatter the stereotype that church has to be boring. Our teens meet the 1st and 3rd Wednesday’s of every month from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. They also do some pretty cool activities each month.

A Place you Won’t be Embarrassed
As our guest you will not be asked to say, sign, give, or do anything. We want you to feel comfortable, relax, and experience the service without worrying. Newcomers are always welcome. We all were newcomers at one time and remember that it can sometimes be an awkward experience. At The Journey we strive to make your experience as enjoyable as possible. In fact, we think you will want to bring your friends the next week.
