Ministry to the Pokot

The Pokot are a semi-nomadic tribe living in the northwestern desert of Kenya. They live with their tribes in communities with many families, each composed of a man with his wives, children, and livestock. They depend on their livestock for food and income, and the animals are valued above all else by the men. Healthcare for themselves and their animals is scarce.

Pastor Micah

Pastor Micah is part of AMET(a local outreach evangelism team). He is in front of the dirt delivered to start the construction of the Eghu Pelion church

Eghu Pelion Church

The newly constructed church consists of a dirt floor, sheet metal roof and open walls that the members have woven tree branches through. They are so thankful to have a place to meet and worship.

Dr Limo's Vaccination and Evangelism Clinic

Dr. Limo is shown participating in a livestock vaccination clinic to prevent serious pneumonias, while sharing the Gospel in the community.
