Go With Confidence
Nick Klempp – Administration Pastor
Read: Matthew 28:19–20
Jesus’ command in Matthew 28 begins with a simple but powerful word: go. This is not a suggestion—it’s a calling for every believer. We often think “going” means traveling overseas or becoming a missionary (which it can), but the word here can really mean AS YOU GO- so wherever you find yourself
Your workplace
Your neighborhood
Your family
Your everyday interactions
Wherever God has placed you!
Jesus didn’t say just to make converts—He said to make disciples. That means helping people:
Know Jesus
Follow Jesus and
Grow in Jesus
Discipleship is about relationship, not just information. It’s walking with others as they learn to walk with Christ and obey him and them helping you do the same. And Jesus gives us a clear process:
Go-preach the Gospel
Baptizing – identifying with Christ publicly
Teaching – learning to obey His Word
Faith isn’t meant to stay private, stagnant or shallow. It grows through obedience and community/accountability.
Then we need to remember; Jesus doesn’t send us out alone—He goes with us. His presence gives us:
Courage when we feel afraid
Strength when we feel inadequate
Confidence when we feel unsure
Our mission may feel big, but we serve a Savior who is bigger.
You are sent. You are equipped. And you are never alone.
In our life we should have people we are sharing the love of Christ to, that need it for the first time, have people in our life we are continuing to help walk closer to Jesus and in turn help us as well.
Are you actively growing in your own obedience to God’s Word? You can’t teach what you’re not pursuing.
Am I intentionally building relationships with people who don’t know Jesus?
What is one simple way I can “go” this week (conversation, invitation, act of kindness)
Who are 1–2 specific people in my life right now that need-to-know Jesus?
What fears or excuses tend to hold me back from sharing my faith? What can I do to face those?
How can I better show Christ through my actions this week?
Is there someone you can intentionally invest in spiritually this week? Set up a time to meet with them and talk about it.
Heavenly Father- Help me to see the people around me through Your eyes with your love. Give me courage to share, the patience to disciple, and to remember that You are always with me. Use my life to reach others for you. Stretch my boundaries and bring people into my life that I can show your love to.
